original watercolour with Pen & ink. 4 X 15" I have a beautiful bouquet of feathers, found by me, or gifted to me by friends who know how much I love them. These feathers take turn s modelling for me, and this is just one of many feather portraits I've done. I try and do them life-size and reproduce them as accurately as I can. Since I use only red, yellow and blue, finest quality watercolours, it's challenging to get the subtleties of tan, brown, buff, orange and black that feathers like this display. This painting has been dry-mounted on cradle board and varnished with UV-protective acrylic varnish, and is ready to hang. Show more
