Dungen's acclaimed psychedelic music combines atmospheric soundscapes with entrancing songs. Now, Häxan marks their soundtrack debut, recorded for 1926 film The Adventures of Princ e Achmed. Using analog, they captured loose, improvisatory sessions, crafting pieces to accompany the film and stand on their own. From sweeping rock to jazz, psychedelic late-night jams to pastoral meanderings, the music spans a range of styles, with shimmering organs, Mellotrons, abstract flutes, pounding and drifting drums, and melodic flourishes.
