The HAY Layout Dining Chair 113, designed by Julien Renault, builds on the light, adaptable character of the Layout collection with added comfort through an upholstered seat. The open-back shell creates a sense of visual lightness while allowing natural movement, making the chair comfortable to sit in for longer periods. Slim tubular legs provide a clean, understated structure that works equally well in dining rooms, workspaces and public interiors. The shell is made from a minimum of 96% post-consumer recycled plastic and, like all Layout chairs, every component can be fully disassembled to extend its lifespan and support refurbishment over time. The frame is available in either chrome or powder coated steel, while the upholstered seat can be specified in a wide range of fabrics or olive-leaf tanned leather.
