He is influenced greatly by artists such as Van Gogh, Kandinsky and Cezanne, and uses bold colours and brushstrokes to capture moods, emotions and to create a sense of connection to a location. He does this using a variety of mediums including acrylic, oil, gouache, oil pastel, ink, collage and pencil. He has exhibited paintings at Winchester Cathedral and the Business Design Centre in Islington, as winner of the Abstract and Experimental category for the Society for all Artists.
