Famous as Wainwright ’s favourite fell, it offers many tranquil spots, including Innominate Tarn, which provides captivating views toward nearby Great Gable. Rising to 597m (1,959 ft), Haystacks boasts impressive valley views over Buttermere and Wild Ennerdale. It is often explored via a circular route that takes in Scarth Gap and Fleetwith Pike.
