What It Does The CX1000RE element sits inside the StarClea r C100 filter tank and captures dirt, debris, and fine particulates as pool water passes through its pleated fabric surface. When the element becomes loaded with contaminants, flow rate drops and the element is removed, rinsed or soaked clean, and reinstalled — no backwashing required.
