Harley Sportster XR750 TT Road race tankThis is a replica of the large (6.5GL) XR750 road race tank for your Sportster. The XR750 frames had a very skinny (1') backbone so the original XR750 tank wouldn't fit onto the stock Sportster frame (1.65'). So we have completely redesigned the tunnel to fit this tank to the standard Sportster frame. The heavily sculpted top is the same as the original 6.5GL XR750 tank. A 3/8' fuel bung is normally placed on the front left side of the tank, we can supply a matching Pingel valve. The tank comes with two mounting studs on the bottom and an insert in the back. You will need to weld some mounting points onto the frame. Of course, you can also fabricate a tank strap, the original tank was mounted this way.
