Reactions that occur days or weeks later can often be attributed to heat, moisture, or hygiene issues. If unusual swelling, skin discoloration, rash or discomfort occur, discontinue use. Care should be taken to ensure that the support does not fit so tight that circulation is impaired. Not for horses that have an allergic reaction to neoprene, or who tend to develop dermatitis. Not for use over open wounds and infected areas. Cleaning HAND WASH in warm water and mild soap. Can be machine washed on gentle with mild soap. RINSE thoroughly. The pieces should be rinsed really well. AIR DRY. Do not wring. Be sure both pieces are completely dry before using on the next horse.
