Dominant oils: Lavender, Peppermint, Roman camomile Function: A potent, pungent formula that may relieve aches and pains in the head. Use: Inhalation and topical on temples, forehead, occiput or nape. Apply a few drops undiluted in severe cases Direct inhalation: Put a few drops on a tissue and inhale the scent. Dropping a few drops on a wet washcloth in the shower or bath also works well. Diffuser and nebulizer: 3-10 drops into water for a diffusor with a heat or air source. Use about 3ml for a nebulizer operated by an air pump. Massage: Use 15-30 drops per 1 oz (30ml) carrier oil or lotion and massage into desired area. Grapeseed, Jojoba, Sweet Almond oils are best for this purpose. (2-4% dilution) Bath: Add 1-5 drops into bath water CAUTION: Never use Aromatherapy Blends undiluted on the skin, except when placing ONE drop on the pulse points as perfume. Check with your health-care practitioner about using blends during pregnancy and postpartum.
