The Radical Pro, the heaviest of the Radical series of racquets, has been updated with state-of-the-art Auxetic technology to improve impact feel and playability for an all-court, strong intermediate to advanced tournament player. The head size is on the smaller side of average which enables greater control potential for those consistent with it's smaller sweet spot. The string pattern is slightly denser than the typical 16/19 racquet which means that there is a higher density of the strings in the sweet spot which translates to a greater degree of control while maintaining the easier access to spin that open string patterns are known for. The weight being the heaviest of the Radical series at 11.1 ounces (unstrung) brings greater stability, plow-through and stopping power for increased power potential, big return of serves and the ability to load up on spin for those who can swing it. Its head-light balance (unstrung) increases your ability to move the frame quickly, an important factor in generating power as well as being conducive to fast movements at the net for game-changing volleys or being able to swing fast for greater spin generation. On the technology side, HEAD brings Auxetic technology to the Radical line. Head's Auxetic is an adaptive technology that optimizes ball feedback depending on where the ball is hit on the stringbed. The Graphene technology is being used to strengthen the frame for enhanced stability and power. The other technologies listed in the "technology" section further optimize what makes the Radical series a great racquet for all-court players. The Radical Pro should appeal to experienced players looking for a racquet to take them the distance. This racquet provides a blend of power, spin and control - ideal for all-court tournament players who love to mix it up. Head Size: 98 sq. inches / 630 sq. cm Length: 27 inches / 68.5 cm Weight: 11.1 oz / 315 g unstrung Balance: 8 pts head light / 315mm unstrung Swingweight: 324 Beam width: 20mm / 21.5mm / 21mm Flex: 64 Tension Range: 48-57 lbs / 22-26 kg String Pattern: 16/19 Style #: 235103 2/9/2023 AUXETICAuxetic constructions show a unique deformation compared to non-Auxetic constructions. Due to their internal properties, Auxetic constructions widen when a “pull” force is applied and contract when squeezed. The bigger the applied force, the bigger the Auxetic reaction. GRAPHENE INSIDEStrategically positioned in most of HEAD's racquets, Graphene strengthens the frame, provides greater stability and optimises energy transfer from racquet to ball. SOUND GROMMETSSound grommets provide enhanced power via greater string movement and optimize sound and vibrations. CONTROL PATTERNA more dense 16/19 string pattern provides the perfect mix of control and power. VARIABLE BEAMThe variable beam cross-section perfectly balances the power, control and spin of the racquet.
