Reginald was tired. When the local Woodland Creatures Association for the Institution of Standards and Governance had decided to elect him as Temporary Overseer of Forest Affairs h e had assumed there would be some work but nothing like this. Suddenly every problem, no matter how mundane, was his to mediate. They hadn't even had a government to complain to up until two months ago. He wasn't even sure how the news had spread so fast - though he had his suspicions. Squirrels. It was always the squirrels with their chattering and scurrying and general suspect behavior.
