Healthy Movers is a suite of resources and training to support practitioners and families to develop the competence and confidence to ensure every child is physically literate. We have produced an engaging pack of resources for parents and children aged 2-5, using different activities to develop physical and emotional wellbeing in children to become, ‘school ready’. The Healthy Movers at Home resource set is a set of games and activities to get children moving at home. The activities are designed to develop balance, movement and using objects in a fun and engaging way. The pack complements the Healthy Movers Toolkit for early years settings and engages parents in the importance of sitting less and moving more at home for the benefit of their child’s development.
