I tailor my patterns to either new/beginner quilters or quilters who would like to make a beautiful quilt quickly. My patterns require only one precut fabric with the addition of just one or two accent fabrics, to make fabric selection quick and easy. This pattern requires a bundle of fat quarters and some neutral fabric. This pattern would be great for scraps as well. Because it is written for five sizes, you can use it again and again. It comes with directions for two different variations, one has two colors in each row, and one is just scrappy.This pattern is not as hard as it looks. Basically you just make half square triangles, which are very simple to make. I give detailed directions for making the half square triangle and then trimming them to the correct size.Finished sizes:Baby 34" x 43" needs 5 to 7 colored fat quartersLap 52" x 60" needs 10 colored fat quartersTwin 68" x 85" needs 20 colored fat quartersFull/Queen 94" x 94" needs 27 FQs or (11) 3/4 yard cuts of colored fabricKing 102" x 94" needs 31 FQs or (11) 3/4 yard cuts of colored fabricYou would need additional neutral fabric to complete the quilt.
