This is the Heart Ornaments Project Dropcloth Sampler. This is a pre-printed sampler, ready for you to work your embroidery magic upon it! Please note that this is the sampler only , no needles, thread, or hoop are included. An embroidery sampler that when complete you can sew into four festive holiday ornaments, perhaps with customized messages of love on the backside. This sampler includes four heart panels for you to embroider by hand. I used back stitch, running stitch, satin stitch and french knots, but you can choose your own stitches to suit your own taste. For best results, we recommend using 3 strands of embroidery floss or size 8 perle cotton in your needles. This Sampler measures approximately 10" x 10". *Instructions included in packaging. For the best embroidering experience, we suggest adding the following:* a 6" or 8" embroidery hoop* embroidery needles (we sell Clover Gold Eye ones here!)* some embroidery floss or perle cotton (we sell Wonderfil Eleganza perle cotton here)* a piece of woven fabric a bit larger than the sampler to use as backing (deep dive in your stash!)
