For the infamous thump of love and the sweetness of our son’s cartoony hearts. 2” wide and 3” long, silver post Karole, Grady and their son, Henry, make up a leather studio in Albu querque, New Mexico. Their work is a 'mescolanza'. A blending of Karole's Lithuanian heritage, Venezuelan upbringing, and Northern Californian education with Grady's New Mexico roots. Oropopo's collections draw deeply from scientific, historical, and environmental themes, blending function with desert literature.
