Inspired by the post-industrial landscapes of Detroit, Matt's approach to shaping hot glass has its roots in the imagery of industry. He constructs custom-made steel tools to form and texture the hot glass into shapes that capture Detroit's rich aesthetic history in an industrial, modern, retro style all his own.
