Eliminate maintenance downtime and protect your temperature-sensitive samples with the Heathrow Scientific Magnetic Induction Stirrer. Unlike traditional stirrers that rely on belts and moving parts, this advanced unit utilizes a 100% wear-free, motor-less magnetic coil technology to drive the stir bar. This innovative design generates minimal ambient heat and operates with near-silent precision. Capable of stirring up to 3 liters of viscous solution at constant speeds, the induction stirrer features a bright digital display and multiple programmable modes including single clockwise, counter-clockwise, and auto-reverse rotation for optimal mixing efficiency.Features and Benefits Motorless Technology: 100% wear-free and maintenance-free design with no moving internal parts. Zero Heat Transfer: Generates almost no heat during operation, making it ideal for agitating highly temperature-sensitive samples over long periods. Advanced Magnetic Coil: Optimized alternating current (AC) creates a powerful magnetic coupling strong enough to handle viscous solutions. Rapid Acceleration: Meets target stirring speeds and brakes in less than 10 seconds for precise time control. Digital Interface: Bright, easy-to-read display allows for accurate programming of time, speed, and operational modes. Specifications Property Value Brand Heathrow Scientific Capacity 3 Liters Speed Range 50 to 2,000 rpm (1 rpm increments) Drive Type Magnetic Induction (Motorless) Run Time 30 sec to 60 min, or continuous Warranty 5 Years Laboratory Applications Extended overnight stirring of temperature-sensitive biological cultures Formulating viscous buffer solutions and chemical reagents Maintaining consistent agitation in sound-sensitive lab environments Frequently Asked QuestionsWhat does motorless mean for a stirrer? Instead of a spinning physical motor with belts, this unit uses a series of electromagnetic coils that pulse in sequence to pull the magnetic stir bar around the vessel. This eliminates mechanical wear, vibration, and friction heat.Is the power supply universal? Yes, it includes a universal AC power adapter (100-240VAC) with 4 interchangeable international plugs.Quality AssuranceHeathrow Scientific products are engineered to strict quality standards to ensure reliability in clinical, research, and industrial laboratories. As a trusted brand in lab essentials, these products undergo rigorous testing for durability, chemical resistance, and precise performance.OrderingAuthorized dealer, ships from USA inventory.
