But instead of just extending the cold plate, we designed an individual high performance water block for this chip. Maximum performance, maximum flow rate Compared to our traditional HEATKILLER® IV PRO, the cooling area of the Threadripper version is more than 80% bigger. Even though the copper cold plate has an enormous size, we manufactured very small cooling fins. Usually, these would reduce the flow rate, but our engineers designed the flow path so cleverly that the flow rate is still extremely impressive. Easy-Mount, premium manufacturing, Made in Germany We developed the revolutionary Easy-Mount –System to simplify the installation process. After the first installation, the block can be installed and uninstalled completely tool-less. The system also provides a fixed stop of the installation bolts.
