Erupting from the same fertile Philadelphia hard rock scene that spawned Cinderella, Britny Fox and Company Of Wolves, Heavens Edge got a late start by not forming until 1987. Even though they were wisely picked up by a major label in time to drop their 1990 debut, the tides and tastes of hard rock were already turning and the band was without a label before they could their sophomore album. After being offered a new record deal in 1998 by European label MTM (in partnership with U.S. label Perris Records) they reunited and finished up tracks that were left unfinished back in 1992, issuing it under the title of Some Other Place Some Other Time.
