Key Features: ✔️ 4mm thick stainless steel cable - reinforced for higher load capacity and impact resistance ✔️ PVC coating - protects your gear and surfaces from scratches while adding weather resistance ✔️ 80cm length - gives you the reach and versatility for a range of secure mounting options ✔️ Pre-crimped loops - easy to attach to your Starlink Mini and anchor point ✔️ Outdoor-ready - corrosion-resistant and built to withstand harsh Aussie conditions Perfect for 4x4 offroading, camping, work vehicles, and any situation where extra peace of mind is needed. How to Fit It The quickest method is to loop the cable back through itself. Pass the tether around a fixed anchor point, feed one looped end through the other, and pull it up snug. The cable cinches onto the anchor and cannot slide off. Then run the free end to your mount. A roof rack grab handle is the easiest anchor on most setups. It is fixed, load-bearing, and usually within easy reach of the dish. A crossbar, a tie-down point, a bull bar bolt, or a caravan A-frame all work just as well. Avoid anything that unclips or unbolts by hand, or that is only held on by a plastic fitting. For fast attach and detach, add a carabiner. Cinch the tether permanently onto your anchor point, clip a carabiner into the free loop, and the dish comes on and off in a couple of seconds without rethreading the cable each time. Worth doing if you bring the dish inside overnight. Any decent hardware or camping store carabiner does the job. Common Questions Q: How do I fit it? A: Loop the cable around a fixed anchor point and feed one end through the other so it cinches on and cannot slide off. Run the free end to your mount. No tools needed. Q: Where is the best place to anchor it? A: Anything fixed and load-bearing. A roof rack grab handle is the usual pick, and a crossbar, tie-down point, bull bar bolt or caravan A-frame all work. The 80cm gives you enough cable to reach an anchor that is not right beside the dish. Q: Is there a quicker way to take it on and off? A: Add a carabiner. Leave the tether cinched onto your anchor point and clip the carabiner into the free loop, and you can attach and detach in a couple of seconds. Handy if the dish comes inside overnight. Q: Will it rattle or scratch? A: The cable has a protective coating. Keep it tensioned snugly for a rattle-free setup. Q: Is this enough to stop a determined thief? A: It is designed to deter opportunistic theft, someone walking past who sees an easy grab. Like any cable lock, it will not stop a determined thief with bolt cutters, but it makes your setup a much harder target.
