The Heavy Electronics Ascend Boost Pedal is more than just your standard boost pedal. Featuring an independent volume control with plenty of headroom, it also has a tone knob that can be completely bypassed, so that you can either adjust the boost on its own, or maximize it to its fullest in tone-bypass mode. Use it to push your tube amp's preamp into overdrive while maintaining a balanced tone. And because boosts typically stay at the front of the signal chain, a J-FET buffer circuit was added for better impedance reaction and consistency among long pedal set-ups.
