You can take split-base old fashioneds in a ton of different directions. We found an intriguing combination here with the sweetness of bonded corn whiskey and citrusy mezcal. Ingre dients: ¼ oz Classic Gum Syrup 1 ½ oz corn whiskey (Mellow Corn suggested) ½ oz mezcal (Del Maguey Santo Domingo suggested) 2 dashes Bittercube Corazon bitters Instructions: Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice Stir for 20 seconds and strain into a chilled rocks glass Garnish with an orange twist Photo: Scott Kallstrand Show more
