This twisted wire neck torc is based on a gold torc found in Britain, dating from the Iron Age circa 100 B.C. Every torc is forged by hand in my studio using traditional techniques. The process begins by annealing the metal, then carefully twisting the wire and hammering it into shape to ensure strength and durability. Every torc is unique, bearing my maker's mark and the distinctive hand of the maker just as ancient artifacts did.
