In the first we will examine Biblical and liturgical prayers that are repeated weekly in our synagogues a nd discover what we're really saying and why we're saying it. This isn't just an intellectual exercise; it will deepen your corporate worship experience. In the second part of the course we will explore a number of prophecies in the Tanach which focus on the person of the Messiah. Was He supposed to be simply a great man, a prophet, a conqueror, or G-d? A basic knowledge of the Hebrew alphabet is required; it will not be taught in the class.
