Acrylic painting on plywood skateboard (805mm x 210mm x 10mm) The eighth instalment of my SKATE SHOP collection, 'Hedge Homer' brings true Homer meme energy to the bottom of a skat eboard. That vacant look on his mush as he backs into the shrubbery is funny as fuck. I just didn't know how deep into the hedge to paint him. My SKATE SHOP collection usually combines my past love of skating with my love of music and recreates iconic album art on the bottom of skateboards, however for this and the accompanying two other boards I've decided to pay homage to the GOAT of cartoon dads.
