The raw materia l can seem understated, while its effect becomes clearer inside a complete fragrance. Perfumers use Hedione for radiance, diffusion and space. It can open jasmine accords, lift citrus florals and give woods, musks or colognes more air without inserting an obvious new note. Its value is often structural rather than immediately recognisable.
