14 x 18 inches Mixed media and oil on canvas Inspired by childhood memories of hiking, canoeing and camping in the Pennsylvania countryside, Held Between Light and Storm reflects t hose peaceful moments when sunlight breaks through the clouds after rain. Rather than capturing one specific place, this original oil painting preserves the feeling of slowing down, breathing deeply and reconnecting with nature. Created with layered mixed media and finished in oils, it invites a sense of calm, warmth and quiet beauty into contemporary homes—offering a gentle reminder to pause and appreciate the beauty found in ordinary moments.
