The Helios Lightwing HR roof prism models are bright new stars in the Helios roof prism range which will satisfy even the most discerning user. Comprising six models over 32mm and 42mm objective lens apertures with exotic ED glass options for the 42mm sizes. They are extremely competent instruments providing high-levels of optical performance for both birdwatching & general observing, whilst offering incredible value. The body is constructed from lightweight but robust magnesium alloy and is covered in stylish green protective rubber armouring. All models feature high-index BaK-4 prisms which are both Phase and Silver Di-Electric coated. Optics are Fully Broadband Multi-Coated with premium extra high-transmission Coatings. These special features combine to provide a light transmission throughput exceeding 90%!! Images delivered are crisp and sharp, with excellent resolution, contrast, brightness and depth of field, with natural levels of colour. The field of view is generously wide with good edge definition. Near focus capability of all models is a highly respectable 2M. Waterproof (30 mins at 1M depth) and nitrogen filled for clear, fog-free operation. Twist-up, 3–position eyecups with metal sub-structure. Suitable for spectacle wearers.
