These territorial and aggressive males are best kept in a single-male community or with very carefully chosen peaceful tankmates. Appearance Coloration:The defining feature is its vivid, often metallic, red coloration. This red can be mixed with secondary colors such as black, white, or iridescent blue and green. Fin Type:"Hellboy" is a type of Plakat Betta, meaning it has short, full fins. This gives it a more active and agile swimming style compared to traditional long-finned Bettas. Temperament & Behavior Aggressive:Like other male Bettas, Hellboys are highly territorial and aggressive, especially toward other males. Community Housing:While they can be housed in a community tank, it must be large enough and contain only peaceful, non-aggressive tankmates, such as snails or certain small fish.
