This discounted HELM DJ is a blemished product. All of these forks are affected by a 'Blem' situation wherein the assembly fluid we use to press fork CSUs together has caused the p aint on the crown to bubble and flake. This is a purely cosmetic blemish and does not affect rideability or performance of the fork. Bubbles and paint flakes range from small to large and are different on each fork, but generally represented by the photos attached. Some blemished areas will be covered up by other fork parts, crown races, and the bicycle frame.
