From time to time, Shopify makes changes behind the scenes, which has historically caused unexpected checkout or session-related issues for some customers. If you encounter a checkout issue, it’s often caused by saved browser data or a temporary session conflict triggered by platform changes. You can try clicking/tapping here to clear your cart, or starting a fresh session (Incognito in Chrome or Private Browsing in Safari) usually resolves the issue. If it doesn’t, please contact us with screenshots of the issue and we’ll help. About the “Some items are no longer available” message This message can appear for two different reasons: The item has genuinely sold out The item is still in stock, but your cart session is stale Shopify does not allow stores to reserve items simply because they are in a cart. This is to prevent cart-hoarding behavior and ensure fair access for all customers. For this reason, items are only secured once checkout is completed. About the questionnaire If a customer is unable to proceed, it may indicate a mismatch between expectations and the product’s specifications. The questionnaire is designed to help set clear expectations before checkout. It helps confirm that customers understand the product and reduces the chance of surprises when their order arrives. We are committed to transparency, even if that means some customers may decide not to proceed after learning more about the handmade nature of our products and the characteristics that can come with that process.
