Small beads, steady weight. This hematite bracelet strings 4mm hematite beads on a durable elastic band, slim enough to stack with everything else on your wrist and heavy enough, for its size, that you still feel it there. Hematite is the grounding stone of modern crystal practice, the one you wear when your head is running ahead of your feet.A 4mm strand is the quiet version: no statement, just a thin dark line that catches the light when you turn your hand. Wear it alone for a subtle daily anchor, or stack it beside amethyst or rose quartz to give softer stones a floor to stand on.Key Features of This 4mm Hematite Bracelet4mm hematite beads. The smallest bead in our hematite line, which makes this the easiest bracelet to wear with a watch, a bangle, or a stack of other crystal strands.Durable elastic band, one size fits most. No clasp, no fiddling. It slides over your hand before a meditation and off again at the sink, and it stays comfortable through a full day.A grounding bracelet for daily practice. Hematite's whole reputation is steadiness. Set an intention into the strand and let its weight remind you, all day, to come back into your body.Product Details Material: hematite beads (listed as natural stone by the supplier) Bead size: 4mm Band: durable elastic, one size fits most Unstretched size: approximately 2.5 inches Style: beaded stretch bracelet, no clasp Weight: about 0.3 oz The Spiritual SignificanceHematite is used for grounding and protection in contemporary crystal practice. In Scott Cunningham's Wiccan-influenced folk magic it is listed under Saturn and the element of Fire, a stone for grounding and for pulling scattered energy back to center; Judy Hall's Crystal Bible places it at the root chakra and pairs it with Aries and Aquarius. Different books, same instinct: this is the stone that holds you down in the best sense. The name comes from the Greek haima, blood, for the rusty red streak the mineral leaves when scratched. Ground to powder it becomes red ochre, one of the oldest pigments on earth, found in cave paintings and burial sites long before anyone wrote a correspondence chart. When you put on a strand of hematite you are touching something people have carried as a marker of body and earth for a very long time. You can use this bracelet to anchor a meditation, to steady yourself before difficult conversations, or simply as a daily reminder that you are here, in this body, on this ground. How To Use This 4mm Hematite Bracelet Cleanse it before the first wear. Pass it through incense or sage smoke, lay it on a selenite stick overnight, or leave it in moonlight. Skip soaking: water is hard on elastic and, over time, on natural hematite too. Set your intention. Hold the strand in your closed hand, feel the weight of it, and say the words: steadiness, protection, focus, whatever you need it to hold. One clear sentence is enough. Wear it on the wrist that feels right. Many practitioners put grounding stones on the left, the receiving side. Try both and notice. Stack it with purpose. A 4mm hematite strand under a softer stone, like rose quartz or amethyst, is a classic pairing: the hematite gives the gentler stone a floor. Rest it on your altar at night and pick it up again in the morning. Your intuition about when to wear it and when to leave it is the best guide you have. Pairs Well With Rose Quartz Bracelet, 4mm: the same bead size, so the two stack evenly; hematite grounds what rose quartz opens. White Selenite Wand: lay the bracelet across it overnight to cleanse and recharge without water. Tumbled Hematite Heart, 1 3/4 in: a palm-sized piece of the same stone for the altar or your pocket during meditation. Root Chakra Votive Candle: light it while you set the bracelet's intention; root work and hematite share one purpose. Cunningham's Encyclopedia of Crystal, Gem & Metal Magic: the source for the hematite correspondences on this page, and a good shelf companion for every stone you own. Frequently Asked QuestionsIs this bracelet natural hematite or man-made?The current listing describes these 4mm beads as natural hematite. Much of the bead hematite on the market is manufactured hematine, so if provenance matters to your practice, ask us and we will check the current batch. Either way, the bracelet is worked the same: cleanse it, set an intention, and wear it.How do I cleanse a crystal bracelet like this one?Cleanse a crystal bracelet with smoke, sound, or selenite rather than water. Pass it through incense or sage smoke, ring a bell over it, or lay it on a selenite stick overnight. Hematite can develop rust with repeated soaking and elastic cord wears faster when wet, so keep it dry.Which hand should I wear a crystal bracelet on?Many practitioners wear a crystal bracelet on the left wrist to receive a stone's qualities and on the right to project them outward. For a grounding stone like hematite, the left is the common choice. Your comfort and your own sense of the stone matter more than the rule. What does it mean when a crystal bracelet breaks? When a crystal bracelet breaks, the practical answer is that elastic cord fatigues with daily wear, and hematite is a heavy bead. Many practitioners also read a snapped strand as a sign the bracelet has finished its work. Thank it, keep the beads, and restring them or return them to the earth. Can I wear hematite with other crystal bracelets? You can wear hematite with other crystal bracelets, and many practitioners prefer to. A 4mm hematite strand is the classic base of a stack because it grounds whatever sits beside it: rose quartz for love work, amethyst for intuition, green aventurine for luck. Keep the stack loose enough that the cords are not straining. How is the 4mm different from the 8mm hematite bracelet? The 4mm Hematite Stretch Bracelet is the slim, stackable version: a thin line of beads that layers under other strands. The Man-Made Hematite Bracelet, 8mm has twice the bead size, more weight, and more presence on its own. Choose 4mm to stack, 8mm to make a single grounding piece the focus.
