Hematite Tumbled Stone: natural Hematite, tumbled smooth to carry in a pocket or hold in the hand. In Sacred Crystals' teaching Hematite is the Crystal Form of Iron — chakra: Solar Plexus. In Sacred Crystals' Teaching Hematite is a tricky stone, as its coloring does not match its assigned chakra. It is a Solar Plexus stone and a guardian of trusting your gut instincts. It is the most important ore of iron — Vero calls it the Crystal form of Iron, a very close relative to the cast iron skillets our foremothers used. It is mined primarily to be made into iron, and then steel; without it, life as we know it would not be. Working in the Solar Plexus, the center for our instincts and our will, Hematite can create balance where what we know and what we want are in conflict. This balance can ease anxiety and bring calm to the body, mind and spirit, encouraging a transformation to the whole, healthy individual. Hematite is especially useful in relationships, helping to add stability and improve the overall quality of the relationship — another result of balancing what is with what is wanted, and finding middle ground. It protects you, and will break when it takes a hit for you. Finally, as a stone of the sacred masculine living in the solar plexus, it takes practical action. Add it to your crystal grids when things need to get done — with no nonsense. It will bring powerful action to the table with no fuss. Chakra: Solar Plexus.
