Skill Level: Advanced Beginner to Intermediate Class Dates: Friday, October 23 - 11:30am-2:30pm Meet the Hemingway Pouch by Center Street Quilts! This quilted pouch features a unique, diagonal zipper to store a wide variety of items. The pattern includes four size options - protect your everyday essentials: eyeglasses, pencils, sewing tools, Kindles, books, paper notebooks, iPads/tablets, and even a small laptop. In this class, students will do some basic quilting, learn how to execute binding on the pouch, and learn a new, unique method for installing the zipper. This class is suitable for intermediate students who have prior experience sewing with zippers (graduates of our Zipper Pouch class are eligible to register). Students must be able to confidently thread and operate a sewing machine independently. Prior quilting experience is helpful but not required.
