This musical sketch goes back to a poem by Hellmut von Gube and received the 2nd prize in the composition competition 1980/81 New Music for Children and Adolescents. The means of n ew music are so clearly connected that there is no difficulty in confusing the choir to pitch or singing glissandi. The instrumental parts (xylophone, guitar, accordion, various percussion instruments) only require basic knowledge, so that this composition offers an attractive task, for example for a lower-level choir.
