Swedish/Danish pianist and composer Henrik Lindstrand is set to release his fifth full-length album, Space Between The album features 10 evocative compositions that further cement Lindstrand’s reputation as a master of minimalistic and emotionally resonant music.Following the success of his critically acclaimed piano trilogy (Leken, Nattresan, and Nordhem) and the expansive sonic palette of Klangland (2023), Space Between sees Lindstrand crafting a soundscape that embraces stillness, contrast, and subtlety. While his signature piano remains at the core, the album incorporates synth and organ layers, woodwinds, drums, strings, and moments of silence.Inspired by the Japanese concept of Ma—the space between moments that creates meaning:“I was fascinated by how Ma values not just the notes or movements, but the quiet spaces that frame them.
