Herb Scissors - Hammer Forged These black forged "Nigiri Basami" are made from SK5 carbon steel with an outer layer of soft iron. In the kitchen they can be used for harvesting and trimming herbs, cutting twine when trussing, opening those annoying packets and a whole host of other tasks. This style of scissor is also coveted by dressmakers for accurate trimming of threads and unpicking tasks. Excellent sharpness and edge retention. Please note: These are forged from carbon steel and will rust if left wet. Dry after use and apply a little camellia oil in humid environments or if storing for long periods.
