Hercules Carrot is a hybrid carrot variety that works great in clay and rocky soils. This is a chantenay-type carrot which is able to produce solid harvests even in challenging soi l types. It is also considered a Kuroda-type carrot which has a high brix score and is sweeter than most varieties. Hercules Carrot produces medium to large tops that are strong and sturdy for easy harvesting. These carrots average 7-7.5" long with a 1.5" diameter. The carrots are thick at the top and have a strong taper towards the bottom. The wider carrot makes this a great variety for juicing. Show more
