This series is born from the tension between softness and roughness - a reflection of Audrey’s own dual heritage, where European and Asian influences meet. Each piece unites an elegant, timeless silhouette with raw, textured surfaces reminiscent of ancient mountain landscapes. Inspired by the Japanese kurinuki technique and shaped by the memory of hikes through the French Alps, these forms evoke terrain carved by time, wind, and water. The clay here speaks — holding the breath of the earth, the rhythm of erosion, the weight of stillness. It remembers. Every fracture and fold is a quiet imprint of transformation, an invitation to contemplate what endures and what fades.
