The set is in superb condition overall with signs of light wear. This is simply the most beautifully made, high quality dressing table set that would look stunning in any bathroom, either the most modern, or the antique setting. They can still be used with all lids functioning and sealed tight. Or simply to be used as a decorative set for the bedroom, dressing room or bathroom. The quality throughout is exceptional. There is a consistent and thick gauge of silver used in each of the pieces. Each of the jars opens to reveal a gilt wash inside. This is done not only for aesthetic reasons, but also in order for whatever is placed inside does not tarnish the silver. Gold simply will not tarnish. The pieces in their own right are stunning, add the decorative hand-engraved heraldic crest adding another level of beauty and quality.
