The Hertz HRC 02 is a wired remote subwoofer level control knob for Hertz amplifiers equipped with a Molex remote-level port, letting you adjust subwoofer output from -20 dB to +6 dB from the driver's seat. Hertz lists compatibility with the Venezia marine amplifiers (V6, V6 24V, V5, V5C, V4, V1, V1 24V) and the DP 1.500 mono amplifier; on the DP 1.500 the control operates over a -15 dB to 0 dB range. As an accessory knob it has no vehicle-specific fitment - it mounts in any 12-volt vehicle or boat where its host amplifier is installed. The compact aluminium-look knob installs three ways with the supplied accessories: stick-on surface mount, screw-down surface mount, or flush (recessed) mount through a 45 mm panel cutout, so it integrates cleanly into a dash, console, or gunwale. Once connected to the amplifier's remote socket, it rides on top of the amp's gain setting - dial bass down for talk radio, up for bass-heavy tracks - without touching the amplifier tune.Sold as a single remote control with mounting accessories. It is an accessory: it does nothing on its own and requires a compatible Hertz amplifier with a Molex remote-level connector.CompatibilityThe HRC 02 works only with Hertz amplifiers that have a Molex-type remote subwoofer level socket - currently the Venezia V-series and the DP 1.500. It does not fit amplifiers that use a 3.5 mm remote jack (Hertz ML Power 1/5 and HMP 1D use the HRC BM remote) or the Hertz Compact Power HCP series (which uses the plain HRC remote). Check your amplifier's manual for a remote volume/sub volume port before ordering.
