Product Overview The HES 9400-BSP is a slim-line, surface mounted electric strike designed for rim exit devices using a 1/2" Pullman latch, in Black Suede Powder Coat (BSP) finish. All components are completely encased within the 1/2" thick housing — no frame cutting required. Simply place the strike on the surface of the frame, align it with the exit device latchbolt, and install. The 9400 ships with a 1/8" spacer plate to accommodate varying door gaps. Field selectable for fail safe or fail secure operation, and auto-sensing 12/24 VDC, the 9400 fits virtually any access control power supply without jumpers or settings. With 1,500 lb. static strength, Grade 1 certification, UL 1034 outdoor burglary-resistant listing, and HES's 10-year SecuriCare no-fault warranty, it is the professional standard for rim exit device access control applications.
