It thrives in full sun or light shade in moist but well-drained, neutral to alkaline soil (tolerant of chalk), is fully hardy in Ireland, and is valued by pollinators for its nectar-rich blooms. Ideal for informal borders and wildlife-friendly plantings. To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height.
