That’s why Beara blends wool from different breeds, supporting local shepherds and preserving Ireland’s rich wool heritage. The result is a tweedy, rustic and lofty classic 2ply yarn in a modern palette of colors. Woolen spun with lots of loft makes this perfect for lightweight but warm garments. The namesake of this yarn, "Cailleach Bhéarra" or the "Hag of Beara," is a figure from Irish mythology and folklore.
