The inspiration for Quilted Kitties started with seeing these environments and attending Quilt Market. In my forty plus years of designing for product, cats and kittens are perennially best sellers. My thought was to marry the two ideas as I’m sure many quilters get into their projects with a snuggly cat by their side. Or perhaps it's just an afternoon cat nap in fabric strewn about the studio.
