Story Sophisticated footwear, hand-built in England since 1873 It all started in 1873, with two brothers and just five craftsmen. The Sanders brothers, William and Thomas, built th eir small workshop in Northamptonshire, England with the vision of starting a successful shoemaking business. Well, it’s been over a century and we’d indubitably call their venture a smashing success. We got our hands on some of these English beauties and were thoroughly impressed with the excellent construction.
