hree precious bits of blue lay cuddled in the base of a cozy nest. A home perfectly prepared and waiting for the moment when the fragile jewels will break forth. A safe, watchful s hadow gazes over them in anticipation of the coming life. Robins frequent my backyard constantly, digging about the soil for worms and pecking through the grass to find a new addition for their nest. My great-grandfather lived in the house before me, and he loved these feathered friends. Note: This original artwork is currently in an exhibit at the Helen Schuler Nature Centre.
