At the time of painting this book I was reading a book my bestie had lent me called "The house in the Cerulean Sea by T J Klune".. (this book has now become the sisters of the traveling book, legit has been posted back and forth between the 3 of us because sometimes life gets in the way between catch ups ahaah) absolutely such a joyful read filled with so many life nuggets that made my heart sing. It made me think a lot about the people in my life and all the hidden magic in the small moments... it's not in the grand gestures or big events that count, it's the "are you home? I'll pop past to see you for 5mins but I secretly need to use your toilet".. it's the random double chin text, it's the voice notes, it's the holding each others hair back, it's the random checking in and asking how my health is going even when I spend most of my days forgetting, it's the random boy mum texts/photo/reels, it's the come over for dinner and letting me see your house is the same mess as my house, it's the Wednesday morning walks, its the speed 40min coffee dates, it's the driving pass each other and stopping our cars on the street for a chat, it's the runs together, it's the hugs...! I could give you so many more examples. Hidden magic, is a little joyous projection to all the people in my life who let me in on the other side of their wall and armour.Thank you for making the ordinary connections magical.
