Our High Temperature Adhesive Spray is ideal for bonding lining materials during campervan conversions - especially carpet, foam and headlining. It bonds fabrics to each other, or onto common interior surfaces such as wood, metal, plastic and rubber. With heat resistance up to 90°C and a flexible finish, it’s a great choice for vehicle interiors where temperatures can rise and materials need to move slightly without the bond failing - perfect for campervans, motorhomes and boats. How many cans do I need? If you’re fitting lining carpet, we’ve found the best rule of thumb is around 1 can per 1 metre length of carpet. As a rough guide, 10 cans is typically enough to fix lining carpet in a small campervan. Fitting / application Ensure both surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust, grease and any other contaminants before bonding. Shake the can well before use. Holding the can around 25cm (10") from the surface, spray one surface horizontally and the other vertically to achieve at least 80% coverage. Allow the adhesive to become touch-dry, usually after 1–2 minutes, then press the surfaces firmly together, working from the centre outwards to create a strong bond and help remove any trapped air bubbles. For a lighter bond, spray one surface only, allow it to dry, then press into place. After use, turn the can upside down and spray briefly to clear the nozzle. Do not use on flexible (plasticised) PVC.
