I have saved this suggested bird-head for about three years, whilst contemplating how best to interpret it. Recently, the part-burnt knot appeared amongst the pebbles. It was the c orrect scale eye - now to introduce them to each other. Cementing their relationship was very tricky. The body is full of grace and creates an elegant bird. Whilst the base does not sit quite flat on a surface, this is deliberate, for set in a draught, the bird will move slightly, bringing it to life. The little blue tuft of rope is as found. Show more
